how it began....

1976

learned how to juggle on the University of Minnesota campus
took community education class and met my mentor, Mario Lorenz

1977

first solo performance for a friend's University of Minnesota choral group

1978

BA in psychology and social welfare from University of MN

co-founded MN performing troupe, SIDESHOW, with Mario Lorenz and Phill Lindsay

thanks to Phill, the group lasted almost a dozen years

we had our first big contract with the Minnesota Renaissance Festival

1979

met wife-to-be at Kansas City Renaissance Festival

first competed in International Jugglers' Association team championships

had a great time and took last place!

1980

Silver Dollar City theme park, Branson MO

six shows per day, six days a week!

1981

moved to Kansas City, Missouri (see wife-to-be notation above)

1983

won International Jugglers' Association Team Championship with Scott Burton

the Raspyni's should have won, but we hit our routine cleaner at the end

I took 5th place in the individual competitions

1990 and 1991

Best Solo Stage Act at Kansas City Renaissance Festival

1990

DisneyWorld Village New Vaudeville Stage

National School Assemblies performer (TN, KY, western US)

1996

Atlanta Olympics

2001

Featured solo artist with Kansas City Symphony

2004

15 years as Coffeyville (KS) Community College visiting humanities artist

returned again in autumn 2006

2005-6

performing artist for Kansas City Young Audiences

a wonderful group

now scheduling assemblies on my own again
